Mikhail Laxton is an Australian-born, Canada-based singer-songwriter whose music blends alternative roots, soul, and folk into a rich, timeless sound. Drawing inspiration from his upbringing in a small coastal town, his time spent in major Australian cities, and his journey to Canada, Laxton crafts songs that explore love, change, and self-discovery. Laxton has shared the stage with artists like Julian Taylor and Kathleen Edwards and opened for The Teskey Brothers at Montreal’s l'Olympia. He is currently finishing his upcoming album, "Present Nostalgia", co-produced by himself and Jim Bryson, further solidifying his place as a distinctive voice in modern roots music.
